Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Dr. Wagoner is board certified in certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at East Carolina University, and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia; before completing his residency at Temple University Health System, where he worked in a Level 1 trauma center. Dr. Wagoner also completed comprehensive training in a four-year residency, gaining experience in forefoot, rearfoot, traumatic, reconstructive surgery, and limb salvage.

Dr Wagoner fully explains what needs to be done to remedy the issue and does it efficiently and effectively. He shows caring by checking to see if the patient is handling the procedure well. Knowledgeable, friendly and caring is a nice combination. He's excellent.

Dr. Wagoner is very personable and easy to talk to. I was impressed that he can maintain eye contact while typing notes in the computer! His exam seemed very thorough and he provided several different potential treatment options. I also appreciate the detailed after-visit notes in My Chart.
